Knight+ ID FAQs

Covid19 has changed how many things are done.  We have adapted our Knight+ Id process to be more digital and less touch during these times.

I am a CCRI student how do I get my Knight+ ID?

Please download the TouchNet OneCard app and follow the prompts after the app is installed on your mobile device.  You can watch a video here:

How do I get my picture on the New ID?

The app and the Knight+ OneCard website allows you to upload a photo or even take a selfie with the app.  The rules must be followed when submitting a picture:

  • Select a clear, high-resolution, digital color photo of yourself with these guidelines in mind:
  • Head shot of you facing the camera, with eyes open and visible
  • A plain, solid, white background, without other people or objects
  • No hats, sunglasses, glare on glasses, clothing that obscures the face, or shadows across your face or in the background
  • Photo file in JPG/JPEG format, at least 310 x 370 pixels in dimension, with a maximum size of 6MB

Do I need a physical ID?

Yes, and No.  With the current campuses being limited to student traffic a digital ID will fit your needs. However, when classes resume and the campuses reopen fully you will need a campus ID to participate in events around campus, buy food and drinks in the dining halls/vending machines, and make purchases in the Campus Store, like CCRI Swag and even bus passes.
