Welcome to the CCRI Bookstore Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page. On this page, we will provide answers to the most commonly asked questions as well as information about your college store.
- How do I find the textbooks for my classes?
-It is very important that you bring a copy of your class schedule with you to the Bookstore. You may know the course number; however, some sections of the class may require different books than other sections. -The textbooks are arranged in the textbook department alphabetically by Department. The corresponding shelf tag will indicate the course number & section number. The tag will tell you if the book is required or optional & also if there are more than one book for that class.
- When is the textbook buyback?
The Bookstore conducts buybacks through out the year. Buybacks are offered during exam week for the Fall & Spring semester and also during the start of each semester. Buybacks are offered during the Summer semester. Please visit the buyback page for dates and more information concerning the buyback.
- What is your refund policy?
Click here to view the refund policy. The refund period is extended at the beginning of each semester.
- How do I use my Financial Aid book credit at the Bookstore?
If you are receiving Financial Aid book credit, just come to the Bookstore with two forms of ID..a photo ID and your class schedule (with student I.D. #) Depending upon your book credit eligiblity, you may be able to purchase textbooks and/or supplies. Food and gift items are not eligible for book credit purchases. Financial Aid cannot be used for online purchases. The charge period begins one week before classes and three into the semester. Book credits are not available during the summer semesters.
